Suwannee
Description: Another un-fluted type Paleo
point, the Suwannee is a medium to large size, broad and fairly thick ariculate
point. The basal constriction is not as narrow as in the Simpson point, and most
examples have ground bases.
Age and Culture: Late Paleo Period ~ 12,000 - 9,000 B.P.
Distribution: South East States
