A Long narrow Arrow point often having large serrations. Some serrated points
may only have a few simple serrations that are small near the tip and larger
near the Stem. Stockton points are almost exclusively made of Obsidian. Named
for Stockton , California were the point is most recognized.
Age and Culture : They appear to be proto-historic and early historic artifacts made by the digger Indians.
Distribution : Primarily along the Central California Coast and Adjacent interior Valleys paralleling the Coast. The best Specimens are found on the great flood plain near the junctions of the Sacramento and San Joaquin Rivers. The Stockton point remains a very rare type.
