HUMBOLDT
GENERAL DESCRIPTION : Narrow lanceolate to triangular, this point has a basal notch or indentation. The concave base variety is lanceolate, contracting towards a narrow base. Basal corners may be sharp to rounded. The basal notched variety is triangular, being widest at the base with a basal notch and rounded basal corners.
AGE AND CULTURE : Age estimates for this point vary greatly. Carbon-14 dates place it between 3000 B.C. and A.D. 700. Cultural associations have not been assessed other than it belongs to the Desert culture.
