Kirk Stemmed - Serrated
Description: Similar to other Kirk stemmed points but, Florida examples have their own style. Expertly serrated this Florida type exhibits a medium to narrow blade with almost horizontal shoulders and a square to rounded stem. Made of raw chert or coral most Florida kirks are thick. Land finds will usually have a heavy patina.
Age and Culture: Early to Middle Archaic Point dating in the 9000-6000 BP
range.
