Aleutian Region
The tradition here called Aleutian will embrace all those artifact assemblages found west of the slate polishers of the Kodiak tradition.
Throughout the territory and time period of the Aleutian
tradition stone tool assemblages are dominated by chipped implements, many of which are stemmed points and knives of various forms.
