TOYAH
A Small Arrow point that has side notches and Concavity or basal notch. The
blade is triangular, having Straight edges that may be serrated at times. The
Stem is broad and basal corners are diagonally extended. Named By Dee Ann Suhm ,
Alex D. Krieger, and Edward B. Jelks from examples found in Western Texas
Age And Culture:
This is a late Prehistoric Arrow point, dating between A.D. 1525 and A.D. 1675
Distribution:
Western Texas, the Southern part of New Mexico, Arizona, and in the State of
Chihuahua in Northern Mexico.
