 Description:   Found associated with the Adena, Red Ochre, Glacial Kame and Benton Cultures. Note: This type is almost ALWAYS made from one of the hornstone related nodular flints from southern Indiana, northern Kentucky or southern Illinois. Any other material should be cause for thorough investigation.
 

Age and Culture: Late Archaic to Early Woodland 3000 B.P. to 2500 B.P.

Sometimes referred to by collectors as "double-notched Turkeytails...a rare type
