HARPETH RIVER
DESCRIPITION:
The Harpeth River point is a medium to large, stemmed, dart or knife point
has broad, shallow, random percussion flaking across the blade surfaces and
fine edge retouch forming small serrations. Highly resharpened points have
steep bifacially beveled edges.The type was named by James W. Cambron.

Early Archaic
Distribution:
Tennessee, western Kentucky, northern Mississippi, and northern Alabama.
