Decatur

Description: Corner notched in form, and usually has steep bevel on the sides. Base is usually fractured off from the sides at a angle. Base is usually ground, and grinding can be profound. Ears are also seen fractured in burin format. Example has both ears snapped, and "side to side" fractured base. Lightly ground. Form is confused with Ohio fractured base, and there is debate that they are actually the same form.
