About me!
I'll soon be 63
yrs old, married and between myself and my present wife, have 6
kids, all grown, and 16 grandkids. I have many hobbies including,
(ham radio), deer hunting-bow or gun, and artifacts. I'm an
ex-buckeye, (Ohio) from the Youngstown area, which is in the N.E.
corner of Ohio, and last of all proud to announce that I'm a
retired iron worker, and as such, have worked in, not only
Missouri, but Illinois, Indiana, and as far away as Ohio, and Pittsburg, Pa.
How I got started collecting!
AN EX-BRO-IN-LAW got
me started collecting about 8 yrs ago. my youngest son collects
also. I collected the evidence 2
months before, 1 day while hunting with my son, I finally found
my 1st point, although it was a puny little thing, it was still my
1st.
What I like to collect!
I was into Daltons and dovetails for awhile, but recently looking hard at Gorgetsand Pendants, 1 each so far.
My favorite relic!
One of my favorites
is the best Dalton, I've found. it has a heavy right hand
bevel, and is about 2 3/4lg x 7/8 wide.

The other is a fine Adena gorget, (elliptical) and very rare,
which i purchased, and at my request , had it papered by Tom Davis. its about 4
11/16 by 3 7/16. usually found only in n.e. Ohio, (mounds) rarely,
but this 1 was found on a bluff in Kentucky
