About me! & How I got started collecting!
I have been
collecting arrowheads for most of my life but I really got
interested and involved about 10 years ago when I was first
introduced to river points by a good friend from Chiefland
Fl.,Lee Williams. Like all new collectors that try get serious, I
really worked on buying and trading to get "quantities"
in my collection but after about a year of shows, I soon realized
that even though I had hundreds of points, my collection
interested very few people. I sold over 800 points to one
collector (for a measley $1900) and re-invested the money into 3
arrowheads (2 Pickwicks and a big Kirk Corner notch). I went from
800+ points to those 3 plus 10 of my better points that I
wouldn't sell. For a couple of months, I really second guessed my
decision, but now I know I made the right move. I only collect
top quality pieces and enjoy shows and sharing them more than
ever.

Hernandos ! Without a
doubt my favorite point types - I treasure these babies more than
anyone in the country ! One day I hope to have the finest
Hernando collection the world. If you know where a G-9+ example
is, let me know.
