About me!
I am 45 years old, married to a wonderful lady named Suzanne and we have twin 19 year old daughters named Angie and Sheila. We live 35-40 miles South of Atlanta, Georgia and have been here since I was in the 5 grade. I am a master electrician and have owned my own commerical electrical business for 25 years. I currently own and operate http://www.artifactsetc.com and offer quality artifacts, fossils, archaeology related books, and display cases to fit the needs of all collectors pocketbooks.
How I got started collecting!
I started collecting arrowheads with my Grandfather back in 1960 and in the North Georgia area. Once I hit the teenage years in 1968, I got into Muscle Cars and gave up the artifact hobby to pursue hot cars and women (or was it hot women and cars?). After settling down in 1975, I again, started back artifact hunting and with a passion. In 1978 I bought a deceased friends collection after being contacted by his widow. I kept what I could afford and sold what I could not afford to keep. This started a new aspect of collecting...buying and selling quality and authentic artifacts... and this is still going on today. I am a past president of Peach State Archaeological Society, a chapter of Central States, and have worked with that chapter closely ever since. I am an associate member of Rebel State Arch. Society, a contributing member of Geniune Indian Relic Society, and a member of Kolomoki Artifact Collecting Society. I now own and operate www.artifactsetc.com and offer quality artifacts, fossils, archaeology related books, and display cases to fit the needs of all collectors pocketbooks.
What I like to collect!
Georgia, Alabama, and Tennessee Mississippian artifacts such as engraved shell gorgets, fine pipes, and pottery vessels.Favorite Relic: Picking a favorite relic would be difficult. I vary with the wind and will change my relic room around several times a year to enjoy the variance of what I own, and most especially with what I have personally found throughout the years of searching those fields.Visit our web page at http://www.artifactsetc.com
