About me!
I am 60 years young and was born and raised in Western North Carolina. Married with four great kids and a wife I added to my collection. We now live in South Florida.
How I got started collecting!
When I was ten years old (1950) in NC, a man that own a store that soled rocks and artifacts ask If I would help him look for arrowheads on the weekends. I said yes, have been looking for the last 50 years.
What I like to collect!
I collect anything and everything. My collection of arrowheads is mostly from NC,SC,GA and Fl. I have given arrowheads to some of the local schools and made displays for friends to hang in their office and homes. Never counted all that I have, maybe 2500.
My favorite relic!
A friend gave this artifact to me years ago. It is 7"x 4" and has a green tent to it. He told me it was found in Texas along the Rio Grand River. The material looks like a
Diorite a member of the granite family. It has a high overall polish and is museum quality. I think it is Aztec or South American Indian? What do you think it is and where does it comes from? e-mail me and let me know.
