Burlington

Burlington outcrops on both sides of the Mississippi river, with outcroppings in Illinois, Missouri and Iowa. Burlington was one of the most highly used materials in all of the Midwest. Burlington can be a variety of colors, brown, tan, white, pinks, dark browns ect. The heat-treatment of Burlington brought out colors and caused a waxy surface with luster.
