Brassfield
Brassfield has Some outcrops occur along the Brush Creek in south-central Ohio in Adams and Highland Counties, and across the Ohio riverin Lewis, Bracken and Mason Counties Kentucky. Color can be from white to tan to dark brown, but is most common in in a cream to light yellow. Can turn pink to redish with heat treatment. Containing a lot of fossils, it can be tough to knap, leaving a heavy grainy texture. Quartz inclusions are also common.
